Great hotel! We were visiting in winter just for a weekend to attend a wedding and so this hotel was perfect for us. Staff was very welcoming and the location was optimal. The venue (the Memorial Art Gallery) as well as breakfast/dinner options were all within a short drive, and probably would have been walkable had the sidewalks not been iced over. They also offered select parking in a free, indoor, heated garage which alone made this hotel a 5/5 for us as we didn't have to worry about clearing off any snow from the car or going outside in the cold to grab our luggage. Only thing to be mindful of is the entrances can be easy to miss.
Great location on the edge of Rochester, easy walk to Eastman Theater or Park Ave neighborhood. Make sure to stroll East Ave to see George Eastman’s house and all the other amazing old mansions.
Spent a few nights here. Amazing service, especially the late nite restaurant bar. The gentleman working was all alone and yet was friendly and courteous while cooking and servicing meals and drinks. Rooms are clean and new.
Beautiful hotel, is in a great location next to restaurants and great coffee stores!! Rooms are big and comfy, If they had free continental breakfast it would be a five star in service.
Many times in Rochester to visit daughter at Eastman School of Music. First time at this hotel. Pleasantly surprised. Walking distance to Eastman, as well as many coffee shops and eateries. Aaron at the hotel evening bar is extremely friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed our time here.
We have spent the past two weeks at the hotel due to my dad being in the hospital. Perfect location, rooms are nice and clean and the meals are exceptional. The staff have all been Very pleasant. I highly recommend this location especially if you are doctoring at Mayo.
Hotel was nice. Centrally located. Rooms were very clean. One issue was the breakfast staff was understaffed leading to long lines and wait times in the morning for coffee or food. This was during the big snow storm Feb 6-8, so it could have been related to that. We were there for a funeral and since the weather was so bad, the entire family stayed in the lobby/bar Saturday night and ran up a tab in honor of the deceased. The bartenders, Cruz and Aaron, were awesome and did a great job. Shout out to them!
Perfectly located for food within walking distance and a vibrant night-life. Room was a great size, comfortable, clean & stocked w/ the necessities. The onsite food was surprisingly amazing as well, I throughly enjoyed the historical Rochester pictures on walls on the main & lower levels
